In today's armies "cavalry" means (if I am not mistaken) armor -- like
tanks, armored personel carriers etc...But yeah, I know, sound funny :)

My crazy serb's grandfather and grandmother were in the cavalry. That's how they met. With horses. :)

Не получится с жалобой. Trying to milk =/= masturbation. Walking around the horse cluelessly, holding a pail and trying to locate the udder could be also described as "trying to milk". :)

А еще сильнее, чем with horses -- это with flowers and horses.
Типа, мне неприятны эти с цветами и лошадьми.
